Where is Büyülü Bahçe Preschool?
We are at 1816. Sokak No:5, Beytepe, Çankaya, Ankara.
How long has the school been open?
We have been in Beytepe with children aged 2 to 6 since 2018.
Which age groups do you accept?
We welcome children aged 2 to 6. Ages 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 each have a classroom of their own.
What are your opening hours?
We are open on weekdays from 07:30 to 18:00, and we stay until the last child is picked up.
Is the school accredited by the Ministry of National Education?
Yes. Özel Büyülü Bahçe Anaokulu is a private preschool accredited by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB). We follow MEB's 2026 Preschool Education Programme.
How much English is there, and how is it taught?
Our English teacher is with the children all day, and English is used at greetings, meals, play and transitions. On top of this, every class has two English lessons every day. The first lesson covers English topics in sequence; the second covers, in English, whatever the children learned in the Turkish programme that day. We encourage children to speak, gently and at their own pace.
Where are meals prepared?
Meals are prepared every day in our own school kitchen: breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Our menus are approved by a paediatric dietitian, and we cook with fresh ingredients that are as natural as possible. Our teachers eat the same food at the same table as the children.
Which specialist lessons do you offer?
English, through activities all day long and two lessons every day. Alongside it: early maths, science and experiments, STEM projects, creative thinking with SCAMPER, brainstorming and problem solving, sport, coding, art, drama and music, with chess for our 5- and 6-year-olds.
Do you prepare children for reading and writing?
Yes, at every age. Up to age 4, our early literacy programme builds pencil grip, line work, listening and speaking skills. Our 5- and 6-year-olds do sound work (phonological awareness): one sound a week, in the same order used in the first year of Turkish primary school.
Can we visit the school?
Yes, by appointment. Just call us or send a WhatsApp message to arrange a time.
Are children's photos shared online?
We take great care of our children's privacy. Our website shows photos of our spaces and of the work our children create.
